  1. PRIZES
    1st place winner will receive a $75 gift certificate
    2nd place winner will receive a $25 gift certificate
    Best three entries from children 0-6 years old will each receive a children's book related to seeds.
  2. Three ways to Enter: 
    Download the template *here* then submit your work (or the work of someone you are a legal guardian for) via:
    1. Instagram: Share artwork to a public Instagram account and tag @grandprismaticseed in the description along with the hashtag #grandprismaticseedcontest
      or
    2. E-mail: E-mail a copy of artwork to contact[at}grandprismaticseed.com
      or
    3. Snail Mail: Send a copy (or original) of artwork to 230 West 200 South Unit 4262 Salt Lake City, UT 84110. Copies and originals sent in the mail will not be returned.
  3. Age requirement
    This contest is open to all ages. Let us know if the applicant is between 0-6 years old so that they will be entered to win the children's book.
  4. Original Work:
    Submit to us original work depicting a seed you find particularly beautiful. No copyright infringement! Your seed art should be as unique as you are :).
  5. Entry Fees:
    There is no fee for entry.
  6. Copyright:
    Contestants retain all copyrights to their artwork unless other written agreements are made.
  7. Non-exclusive Permissions:
    By entering this art competition, you are granting us a non-exclusive perpetual license (unless other written agreements are made) to display images of your artwork on our online contest gallery and to share your work with our social media followers. You can rescind your submission via an e-mail request to contact{at}grandprismaticseed.com if desired.
    8. Judging Criteria:
      What submissions best captures the essence of a beautiful seed? Abstract and figurative depictions are equally valued.
    1. Single Submission:
      One submission per contestant.
    2. Submission Deadlines:
      Deadline for submission is December 31, 2018. No entries will be accepted after that date.
    3. Announcement of Winners:
      Winners will be announced by January 6, 2019
