Anthyllis vuleraria var. coccinea

This small nitrogen fixing perennial from Europe has striking red, pink, and orange flowers that are loved by pollinators. Start seed indoors, or direct sow in late spring. A higher percentage of seeds will germinate if you gently scarify them.

They are beautiful in ornamental beds, and look especially cute in rock gardens.
