Agastache rugosa

This purple flowered perennial is one of our favorite herbs for making tea. The flavor is somewhere between licorice, tarragon, and mint, with a wonderful amount of natural sweetness. You can use leaves fresh or dried.

Direct sow seeds in early spring, or start indoors and transplant after your last frost. We surface sow the seeds, or just barely as they prefer light for germination. Thin plants to 1 foot spacing.
