This low-maintenance perennial green provides a spicy punch to salads, and it will readily self-seed in your garden. The flavor is similar to arugula, but slightly stronger. This is a great option for people who want lots of spicy greens, but don’t want to worry about successive sowings.

Wild arugula prefers to be direct seeded 4-6 weeks before your last frost date, when soil temperatures are still cool. In mild climates you can sow the seeds in late summer or autumn for harvest through winter.
